Canadian Railroads > a bunch for "on this day", for tomorrow, and some captions needed

Hi all, busy tomorrow and will not likely have much computer time, so, I'm posting this today for tomorrow, on this day Feb 25,   2007. 18 images total so it'll be a few minutes loading the whole thread.
The images are sort of a long story, and I can't remember the whole story. This mishap occurred at Soda Creek BC on the BC Rail Prince George subdivision during the Conductors strike. The temporary Conductor finally glanced back on his side of the train and noticed a lot of sparks way back in the train. He mentioned this to the Engineer who quickly brought the train to a stop. Unfortunately they got stopped a couple car lengths too far. The car that was dragging picked the switch at Soda Creek and attempted to enter the siding, and "cornered" some cars that were in the siding. Three cars derailed. CN in their wisdom, removed the car that struck the cars in the siding, and basically left the other two cars at the site, for months and months.
CN had on the employee website a "Daily Situation Report" that covered daily issues, train delays and derailments. Generally if there was a mishap involving a Union employee, the event was called "employee failure".  If a supervisor screwed up, the incident was labelled "procedural error".  This little failure pictured here did not make it on the "daily situation report".
