The car in the photo (Ottawa-Montréal train) is a 26 seat Dinette-dorm, 431 - 435 series.  These cars were built by CC&F in 1957.  They were retired from VIA service after the November 15, 1981 cuts.   VIA had six more Dinette-dorm cars built by PS in 1954 numbered 425 - 430. The spotting features between the two cars is the distance between the two large window on the B end and the first of the five long narrow windows.  This distance is greater on the PS cars.

The same type of car is in the last photo as well.
