Chill out !!
Author: hoggerdoug

Three shots of the north portal of Wolverine Tunnel, mile 47.3 on the BC Rail Tumbler sub. This would be the view the crew saw before "going underground". The Wolverine Tunnel was a stinky transit as there was a bacteria slime that grew on the tunnel walls that gave a smell of rotten eggs. The aroma was also corrosive the overhead copper wire catenary. Lots of water in the Table and Wolverine tunnels.

There are four tunnels in all on the Tumbler sub. Table Tunnel between mile 34.1 & 39.7, 5.6 miles. Wolverine Tunnel between mile 43.6 & 47.3, 3.7 miles. Two short bore holes 800 feet at mile 49.6 as well as 1200 feet at mile 53.5

Anyhow, if the weather is too warm where you live, these images might add a chill to the air. Doug

That big icicle on the right looks kind of close Doug.
