Canadian Railroads > MLW Monday - CP C-424s on the ChalkDate: 05/29/17 12:54 MLW Monday - CP C-424s on the Chalk Author: feclark Today's entry in the derby is the pair of 4250 and 4238 (plus sister 4212, all running elephant-style) on the point of #911 as it approaches Pakenham, ON, on the Chalk River Sub. The time is 1312 on April 2, 1983, and the wheels that got me here belong to LBC, having chased from Smiths Falls. We are on the shoulder of County Road 29 looking up at the embankment that will get the rails onto the bridge at the south end of town.

I think the top was up on the car, and I can't remember if it was the blue or red one. Fred |
