Date: 07/25/17 17:42 Re: Rare CP Caboose Collection Author: refarkas Even if those cattle cars were empty, the stench would probably be awful.
Bob Date: 07/25/17 18:29 Re: Rare CP Caboose Collection Author: King_Coal Nice trio! I really like the 1st one with the stock cars.
Date: 07/25/17 20:12 Re: Rare CP Caboose Collection Author: kgmontreal The shot of the bay window caboose in the Soo came as a surpise. Never know one ran there.
Ken Date: 07/25/17 20:19 Re: Rare CP Caboose Collection Author: greasemonkey I understand the cattle cars were used to haul ties in later years, so that might be what they were being used for then.

AFAIK, there were only two Bay Window's and one of them worked the 12th Street yard in Calgary. I am sure that I have a photo of that one in 1978 taken around February. I thought both of them were in the Calgary area at that time. I know that one of them belongs in the Knowlton private collection south of Calgary.
