Canadian Railroads > CN B730 before and after a crew changeDate: 07/25/17 19:02 CN B730 before and after a crew change Author: Mberry This past Saturday CN ran loaded potash train CN B730 into Montreal on a sunny morning, allowing me to get a shot I'd been meaning to do for awhile (the first one). The train consisted of CN 3118 & CN 2964 up front, CN 3041 mid-train and CN 3062 on the tail end as, with 205 potash loads destined for Saint John, NB.
1-The train is passing through the Montreal suburb of Beaconsfield at 1000 and is about ten miles away from changing crews at Turcot West. 2&3-It's a bit over an hour later and a new crew is onboard as the train passes through St-Henri, passing VIA 65 in the process. A few years back I saw a CP intermodal train in Montreal with power at the front, middle and rear. Michael |
