Canadian Railroads > In and out of Squamish

Yesterday's train 570 arrived in Squamish, switched for an hour, and then continued southward with the same crew as train 546. Usually these trains run with different crews and many hours apart, but since 570 had been rescued a few hours earlier by a new crew, I guess the powers-that-be decided to keep the train moving.
1. 570 crosses the Mamquam River upon arrival in Squamish.
2. 546 leaves town an hour or so later.

3. 546 at Britannia.
4. It's getting dark: 546 at Furry Creek. This areas was fenced off from the road a couple of years ago but within days fishermen had cut a hole in the fence. The hole remains.

Just drove to Squamish and back to visit family today, and noticed the Mamquam Blind Channel bridge has been pretty much "repainted" by local(?) artists. Nice shots as usual LF.
