CN 149 at the start and end of my vacation
Author: Mberry

This past Tuesday, September 12th I left Montreal with my family for a vacation in Toronto. We left in the morning and as I was driving along highway 20, I came across CN 149's tail end. I pulled ahead and had just enough time to get off at Île-Perrot and shoot it crossing the Ottawa River with IC 2709 & CN 5427 for power. Heading west I saw it from the highway a number of times.

On Saturday, September 16th I shot another edition of CN 149 in the Toronto area the day before heading back home. CN 149 with a varied lashup of BCOL 4650, CN 2009 & CN 3087 is climbing the grade on CN's York Sub, on its way to the Brampton Intermodal Terminal. I am standing on the Hilda Avenue overpass.

Here's the BCOL 4650 & CN 2009 behind the CN 2164, on Sunday, September 17, 2017, about 3:30 PM. Battle Creek, Michigan.

The CN 3087 wasn't with them here.

I do not know the Train ID, might have been M397.

I've not seen the CN 3087 yet. I've been looking for it. It was at the CN Woodcrest Engine House, Markham Yard, Homewood, Illinois, back a couple months ago.
