MLW Monday - South Devon
Author: Lerchy

Two pictures taken in front of the CNR South Devon Station which was located just across the St John River from Fredericton New Brunswick. These shots are from the early 1970's show MLW built CPR RS-3 8435 and CNR RS-18 3835.

Steel trainman lamps, lunch boxes and leather gloves on the platform. Some crew going on or off duty. I think those were Adlake lamps, used both by CP and CN. CN also used blue painted Star brand lamps.

Nice set-up and shots. Love the trains, also love the automobile noses in photo 2. The Meteor front end is a classic,; we had a red 1963 Meteor wagon.
