All depends on the weather and mother nature when and how the trees will turn. The blaze of yellow is nice account the aspen and poplar trees. Certainly not the various orange and reds that hardwood trees show in the fall season. Doug Date: 09/22/17 13:57 Re: first day of autumn Author: trainjunkie hoggerdoug Wrote:

Doug The colors have pretty much peaked here in Alaska already. I drive south almost every fall and usually pick the colors up again in the lower Yukon/upper BC area but I never really know where I'll find them until I get there. All I know is I can't wait to see some sunshine. We've had rain almost every day this summer up here. I can count the number of sunny days we've had since May on one hand. The weather in western Canada is usually quite nice this time of year and I'm looking forward to the journey. |
