Canadian Railroads > RTM Mascouche Line – What is it??Date: 10/24/17 03:56 RTM Mascouche Line – What is it?? Author: ghCBNS What is this tunnel-like structure near Repentigny covering RTM’s line to Mascouche. It’s a KM + long, enclosed on the north side, open on the south and has a roof.

Author: CPR_4000 Strange choice of alignment . . . looks like there's quite a bit of relatively undeveloped land to the south of Route 640 where a station could have been built on the southern edge of Repentigny without that loop to the north. Guess they had their reasons for building it where they did.

The CN once ran an electric service, once in a while with an MU, over a portion of that line as far a Montreal North, I believe.
