is the c.p. running any intermodal trains over 10,000' on the laggan sub? if so, do you know the symbols?

Yes but only occasionally. I did catch one the other day (with pics). See the post Laggan Sub - Feb 9. The 2nd train was a 100 (Vancouver-Toronto) and at 494 axles it's well over 10,000 ft.
