A trio of SD75I's on CN 149
Author: Mberry

Delayed in posting this here, as I had quite a bit of photos to go through... A couple of Sunday's ago (January 28th) CN 149 had a trio of SD75I's out of Montreal (CN 5732, CN 5742 & CN 5673) and I shot it at a number of locations.

1-We start at Turcot West where VIA 633 (deadheading a second consist as it does every Sunday morning) is passing CN 149 which has just stopped for a lift. At left is a classic signal gantry whose days are numbered.

2&3-The power heads east light to lift a cut of cars left by CN 121 the previous night on CN's new right of way here, not yet in use for the most part.

4-The power has couple onto its lift and is about to head west.

5-I'm now on the St-Jacques overpass and the train is stopped waiting for the conductor to get onboard, as CN 310 passes at right.

6-CN 149 has started to move and a well-placed gon on CN 310 allows full sun on the leading engine.

7-The train is about to pass MP 14 of the Kingston Sub in Pointe-Claire.

8-The train is passing MP 22 of the Kingston Sub in Île-Perrot.
