Kelowna Pacific was an operation in BC's Okanagan Valley that used former CNR rails from Vernon, BC to Kamloops (with a couple of branches).

Soon after start up, the railway brought in a group of former CN M-420's to use as power for the railway. Of these, only one: KPR 3500 was given a Kelowna Pacific paint job. It was painted with this grey/red scheme in the summer of 2000. Knighthawk was the parent company (or the holding company) of the railroad at the time. This was the only locomotive to ever receive this paint scheme.

Here, It is just before nightfall and KPR 3500 and sisters are pumping air and getting ready to depart Vernon, BCin January of 2001.
