Snow, Lindbrook, and Something for Doug
Author: feclark

We got some good snow on the weekend of March 3, and temperatures stayed low until this past weekend, so I got out to Lindbrook on the Wainwright Sub for a few hours Saturday morning, March 10, to take advantage, with seven trains in just over three hours. Four shots here.
1. Arrival at the east end of Lindbrook, Range Road 194, found this train holding the main until #315 could take siding. This is the departure of #106 at 0929, behind 2823 and 2951, lens set at 48 mm.
2. At 1004, #192 arrived behind 2816, 2260, and BCOL 4612 (not on the point but we'll take it); there are 458 axles in this stack train, lens set at 24 mm, with slight elevation from my step stool. Coming to a stop on the main in preparation for a meet.
3. The one down side to shooting at Lindbrook is the killing of lights for meets; this is #313 behind 8912 and an unrecorded and unidentified GE, at 1019, with a mixed basket of goodies, lens set at 36 mm. By the time I left around noon, this train was still sitting at Lindbrook. No velocity at all.

4. Once the WB got into the siding, it was time to fire up #192 and get going, at 1026.
