RMR train 609, Heffley Creek BC

Today's Jasper to Vancouver train 609 is seen passing through Heffley Creek BC,Mile 129 on the CN Clearwater Subdivision , ten miles from its overnight stop at Kamloops.

The train was on time.

The ex-CN GP40-2L's are looking good for locomotives built in the 1970's. Dynamic brakes were added when the were rebuilt for the Rocky Mountaineer some years ago.

Nice; their look has certainly changed since delivery, what with snow shields as well.
