on this day
Author: hoggerdoug

Sept 12, 2008. This is day four and last leg of a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer Fraser Discovery. On this day, on duty at Quesnel BC @06:00, paper work, spot the train for passenger loading for a 0:700 departure north to Prince George BC.  At Prince George we will trade off with a CN crew in the BC Rail "south yard". The train will head east to Jasper and I will drive south home to Williams Lake and enjoy five days off, then start the cycle over again. Prince George to Quesnel, Quesnel to Whistler, Whistler to Quesnel, Quesnel to Prince George.
A few images taken on this misty early fall morning.
01 to 03 approaching mile 398 and bridge over the Cottonwood River.

Loleta is right; amazing esthetics, and terrifying at the same time. A leap of faith.
