It's Sunday, so we didn't expect much. Then the shop brought these two GP9s down and parked them in front of the depot. Turns out an extra job was called to put the Hearst train together.
Shop track goodies.

They are scale test cars used to calibrate RR car scales.  Here is an old post https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,762040 and the wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scale_test_car

T&NO 137 had a brief career on the ONR (current name for T&NO) as an excursion engine in the 1960's until damaged in a roundhouse fire. Note the curious cab, never used in active service.

137 is one of two ex-Canadian Northern Railway 2-8-0's preserved today, the other being Kamloops Heritage Railway 2141.  137 was sold to the T&NO long ago, was a coal burner where 2141 is an oil burner, and 137 does not have some of the modifications which 2141 received in CN service.

It would be nice if someone took measurements from 2141's cab to rebuild the cab on 137.
