Canadian Railroads > Tempo “In Tune with the Times”Date: 09/19/18 01:29 Tempo “In Tune with the Times” Author: ghCBNS It’s 50 years ago this summer that CN acquired a 25 car fleet of Tempo equipment from Hawker-Siddeley. MLW RS-18 locomotives were rebuilt with elongated short-hoods to house HEP equipment to power the cars. The trains ran in Southwestern Ontario between Toronto-London-Sarnia-Windsor.
