Canada's federal Green party leader, Elizabeth May, announced her upcoming marriage
on April 22, 2019, in Victoria, B.C.
She represents a Vancouver Island riding.
She plans to marry John Kidder, the brother of the late actress Margot Kidder.
Mr. Kidder operates a hops farm near Ashcroft, B.C.

Their honeymoon plans feature a cross-country VIA train trip,
from Vancouver to Ottawa.

Wonder how much they will pay?  Canadian MP's used to have free train travel.

In 2014, when the Green Party held its national convention in Fredeicton, N.B., it provided 50% discounts to its convention delegates to encourage travelling there on the Canadian, Ocean and a Toronto-Montreal corridor train. The party held rallies en route at some of the major stops, as detailed on the linked page.
