Canadian Railroads > VIA No. 1 OT to VancouverDate: 04/10/19 14:45 VIA No. 1 OT to Vancouver Author: andersonb109 Having a train be on time shouldn't be news. It should be a regular occurrence unless something like weather, an accident, or mechanical failure gets in the way. But when VIA No. 1 arrives to Vancouver 6 minutes early..well sadly, that's news. Second No. 1 out of Toronto is also OT in Ontario. So has CN finally gotten their act together. Or is this just a lucky one off situation? I guess time will tell.

It will be news if the VIA Canadian ever regularly runs on time better the 80% of the time. Now.....that would be historic! Maybe VIA and CN can put another day in the transcon schedule.....that might work. Trip report later but all was good!! Still the best!!

Perhaps Canadian National is getting its hands around the previous congestion. More double tracking is coming this year, too.
