Status of Vancouver Island Logger
Author: EMDSW-1

Was wondering if someone can update on the status of CFP's logging line that was shut down due to the runaway accident. Any equipment disposition / scrapping begun?

There is no clear answer that I can find.
Some equipment to be donated for display at Woss:  https://www.mycomoxvalleynow.com/47028/western-forest-products-to-honour-englewood-railway-in-woss/

The word is that Western Forest Products will start removing Railway in August 2019. Its to bad that they wont leave a short line for the old 113 Steam Train that Canfor used to run back in the 1990s.
