Three "Kodak Instamatic Moments" from June or July 1973. I was a brakeman on a work train and we were heading north, took some shots of the tunnel at mile 598.5 on the BC Rail Chetwynd subdivision.  I was told that in the past the portals had a curtain closing them off, and a watchman would check for ice in the tunnel, then open the curtain for approaching trains.

Heck of a lot more interesting than any Instamatic photos I've taken. Geology is a big part of the hobby, there's a lot of it to see here. Curious if they've added rock slide protection.

Fascinating views that could best be taken only from the cab.

Very nice scenes.  Like them all.
Thanks for the posting.
