Canadian Railroads > GO train -- solid new lime paint consistDate: 09/18/19 07:58 GO train -- solid new lime paint consist Author: WP17 I've been in Toronto for a few days documenting the last days of the TTC CLRVs and spending quality time on Bathurst bridge. This morning I was able to capture a GO train with all 10 cars in the new lime paint -- this seemed to be a very rare occurrence given the mixture of liveries in all of the other trains I saw over the past few days.
And as a bonus, note the number on the unit 666 so a subtitle could be: The (GO train) devil wears lime. WP17 Date: 09/18/19 08:36 Re: GO train -- solid new lime paint consist Author: joemvcnj I've lost my appetite.

I wonder how much this rebranding cost metrolinx. It reminds me of the lime green popsicles we had as children..... "Avocado" on top (like kitchen appliances from the 1960s). I didn't realize the conversation would focus on the new colors (after all they have been around for over 5 years). For the record there are two shades of green. the top band is the green used in the current GO logo and the lower band is a lighter shade which GO apprently refers to as light "apple green". To me it is "puke" green .... Will MacKenzie Dundas, ON Date: 09/18/19 21:37 Re: GO train -- solid new lime paint consist Author: cn6218 dxm332 Wrote:

Kind of reminds me of a rolling Sobeys store. :-) It's been a few years since I've hung out on the Bathurst St. bridge, shooting the morning parade. The background is changing quickly. I suppose those searchlights will be next.
