Canadian Pacific 7023's Maiden Voyage through Ontario
Author: BoxcarGaynor

Today Canadian Pacific EMD SD70ACU 7023 led Vancouver, BC to Montreal, QC train no. 112-18 down the Mactier Subdivision on its maiden voyage across Ontario. Here are a few photos from the chase that ensued.

Photo 1: CP 7023 leans into a curve as it guides train no. 112-18 into Mactier, Ontario.
Photo 2: Complete with a two-tone grey paint scheme designed after the livery applied to Canadian and American fighter jets, CP 7023 triumphantly hauls Vancouver to Montreal stack train no. 112-18 down the Mactier Subdivision at Craighurst, Ontario, on her maiden voyage across the country.
Photo 3: Canadian Pacific 7023 flies along the Mactier Subdivision under stormy skies with train no. 112-18 at Baxter, Ontario.
