CN yard engines, Kamloops 1974

In 1974, CN used GMD switchers as yard engines at Kamloops. The first image shows a transfer going to the CPR. crossing the swing bridge over the South Thompson River at Kamloops.

The second image shows a yard engine switching Kamloops Junction yard.

It still is although I think it has been straight railed for awhile. Throughout the 1970's and 80's, there was a steam powered tour boat which would offer tours from Valleyview to Kamloops Lake. The boat owner passed on and the tours ceased.
