Another wonderful scene captured by Ron Tuff.  TH&B 402 is leading a west bound train near Stoney Creek, ON  March 1979. I would imagine this is the crew that went east early in the morning to Welland and are nearing the end of the return trip to Hamilton. The 402 is one of the three GP-9's that TH&B had for passenger service. They were equipped with a steam generator in the short hood.

That is indeed a wonderful image. Looks like 402 has aquired a new air tank. Thanks for posting all these TH&B shots, a road often overlooked by fans back in the day (including me).
