Rail Action during a Montreal and Toronto Trip in August of 2011
Author: Passfanatic

In August of 2011, I made a trip to Montreal and Toronto-same trip. I spent time doing a lot of touristy stuff and I also spent my fair share of time railfanning. I took the Adirondack from New York City to Montreal. My first railfan activity in Montreal was railfanning the am rush at AMT's(now EXO's) Vendome Station.
1. An eastbound AMT Train approaches Vendome Station, with an F40PH-2 leading a set of Multilevels.
2. A former NJT FH-2 brings up the rear of the AMT train.
3. Former NJT F40 on the head end of an AMT train.

One of the days that I was in Montreal, I rode the Deux-Montagnes Line to the last stop of Deux-Montagnes. It was a pretty neat ride and I know that it's in the process of being converted into a light rail route.
1. Looking toward Montreal from Deux-Montagnes Station.
2. AMT MR-90 MU set at Deux-Montagnes Station.
3. A Former CN Box Cab at the station.

Thanks. Let the sharing continue. Now the next set of pictures will be from my VIA Rail Corridor Ride from Montreal to Kingston-P42 and three LRC Coaches. I appreciated those LRC coaches when I rode them. I'm not sure if I will ever ride them again as I probably have no trips planned to the Ontario and Quebec before they are retired.
1. The Departures and Arrivals Board at Montreal Gare Central Station.
2. Rear view from LRC Coach as we depart Montreal behind with catenary wire crossbars.
3. Cornwall Station
