April 1971, CN 4523 & 2332 grinding up the grade near Dundas, Ontario. If I recall there was some type of testing being done with some of the M-636 units. Quite often see the 2300 series units trailing in the consist along with a tank car. Not sure if CN was experimenting with fuel tenders or determining fuel consumption on these units. The M-636's were an impressive brute locomotives.
