Here are some photos from a short chase of CN train 571 between Garibaldi and Whistler, BC. Only one more train to go before the line is mothballed (see previous threads).
1, 2. Along the Cheakamus River at Garibaldi.

3. 571 from the highway overpass near Brandywine Falls.
4. Along Alta Lake in Whistler. After dark, the train would meet its counterpart 570 at Mons siding a couple of miles north of here.

Sad to see (not your photos LF!) . . . hope its not permanent and more a case of the forestry slowdown etc.
