The "Skeena" passing Yellowhead Lake 1973

The early morning sun illuminates Yellowhead Lake as the "Skeena" finishes out its last miles before arriving at Jasper after an overnight run from Prince Rupert. I took this photo from the Lucerne Campground where i spent a few days. We were the only persons staying at that campground as it had just opened for the season. but finally the Moose in their mating season chased us out of there. I don't think it was still called the "Skeena" at that time which was May 1973.

Perfect reflection with the train right at the fold.  Great work.   Old guide lists it without name.  Lots of stops.

Beyond spectacular! You sure shot this at the right time, in terms of the trees that have grown up to swallow that open expanse at the rails.
