Canadian Railroads > Stealth Switcher in HalifaxDate: 05/24/20 04:17 Stealth Switcher in Halifax Author: cn6218 Despite the fresh paint job, 9411 didn't stick around for long as one of the Rockingham switchers. It's replacement looks like it was in the bodyshop for some work and was rushed out before the job was done. Not sure would cause the paint to fade like this, but it does seem to work well. It's shown here on May 20th, shoving a long string of containers off 120 towards the Halifax Intermodal Terminal. In the background is Bedford Basin, the newer of the two Halifax Harbour bridges, and the Tufts Cove power plant in Dartmouth. 9523 is equipped for remote control operation, but it's being used conventionally here.
