Ah, that chain link fence, which brings back such memories. Our one visit there, 2004, I don't think I even bothered trying a shot; the K64 was too valuable.

Was there not a convenient picnic table next to the fence?  As I recall, there is, or used to be, an ice cream vendor with outdoor seating nearby.

Yes...there used to be a picnic table and I've stood on it but I didn't see it this time. Perhaps it's been removed for social distancing as the waterfront was very quiet that day and no one on the boardwalk.
