Canadian Railroads > Secondhand SaturdayDate: 08/08/20 09:07 Secondhand Saturday Author: cn6218 Once again, from that 2001 trip to Montreal, here is what I think is AMT train 804, deadheading to Central Station on August 21. The coaches are ex-GO Transit, modified for high level platforms, and the F40 is obviously ex-Amtrak, although at this point owned and leased by Rail World (the fine folks that brought us the MM&A). The location is Cape, just west of the Wellington lift bridge (visible in the background) where the double-track splits off to the the St-Hyacinthe Sub. At the time, the McMasterville route only had one morning train, and two in the afternoon, only on weekdays, so this was a bit of a rare catch.

Yes, it does. :-( Second image is "Saved for Web" at full size, but only about 289 KB. GTD Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 08/08/20 13:22 by cn6218. |
