Melville is a small town on the CN but it had a large station as the eastbound SC makes its stop.
This is about 250 miles west of Winnipeg in Saskatchewan.

This is because Melville is a railway division point on the CN.  The Watrous sub (west), the Rivers sub (east), the Quappelle sub (south west) and the Yorkton sub (north) all meet here.
