Along the Sea-to-Sky Corridor
Author: loleta

Thanks for the nudge, Truxtrax. I'm still here, still photographing trains as time allows--which isn't often lately. Apart from the occasional special move, which I seem always to miss, the only game in town here is train 546, the daily turn between North Vancouver and Squamish along Howe Sound.
1. 546 and foxgloves, southbound near Shannon.
2. Northbound at Squamish South with Shannon Falls in the distance.
3. Southbound at Britannia.

4. Northbound at Porteau.
5. Crossing the Stawamus River leaving Squamish.
6. Southbound at Squamish South.

Very inspiring work, L-F.

The most recent CN paint scheme looks pretty good in those settings.  I could never quite muster any affection toward the RWB + nose stripes scheme of the BCOL.

Number 5 reflection shot.

Very beautiful and well done.

I think that would be an IOTD.

Welcome back! The second and fifth shots are lovely, and I envy you having conventional-cab SD60s to shoot!

In picture 3, are the cars right behind the power for coil steel?  How large is the 546?
