Canadian Railroads > VIA 691 & 692 in Thompson together

Transitdocs map shows VIA trains 691 and 692 in Thomspon at this time. (These are these are the Churchill-Winnipeg trains).

Just interesting. Looks like its possible this happens with some frequency based on the schedules and general lateness of these trains. Must cause quite a commotion in this Canadian outpost.

Yes when both trains are on schedule, both will be in Thompson at the same time 2 days/week. Incidentally the Churchill bound train lays over in Thompson for 5 hours in order to give enough time for passengers on the southbound arriving just before noon to get sufficient time to shop and do other business in Thompson before they head back north to Churchill.

And here is photo of both trains in Thompson from just over a year ago (9/13/19). And note a total of 4 Budd domes in town at the same time!!!!
