CN Train Q196 this morning had CM40-8 BCOL 4603 in consist. Looks like CN is going to run some of these units for the winter, since most if them were tied up this past summer.

Where was this train ??  Guess CN is going to beat the crap out of the old units this winter and save the newer ones from the torments of winter railroading.

Wonder if the lack of open walkways has something to do with it?

Perhaps it makes the safety numbers look better, somehow.
