Nocturnal heritage
Author: railsmith

CP 7018 in heritage livery was the tail-end slave in westbound grain train 301-354, which reached the eastern suburbs of Vancouver on Friday evening and was then tied down on the south track between River Road and Albion timetable stations.

Around 22:15, I had time for some tripod-assisted time exposures before the sole head-end unit cut off and ran backward around the train using the north track, then crossed back to the south, and came up behind 7018 to tie on. Then the pair cut off from the train, returned to the cross-overs, and proceeded westward light engine to Coquitlam diesel shops with 7018 leading.
