Canadian Railroads > A Brief Step Back in Time

Revisiting some photos from a trip several years ago, here's some views of the past presented by the Prairie Dog Central near Winnipeg, MB. The 4-4-0 Was scheduled to operate the day we visited, but for unknown reasons the GP9 was a replacement, which was hard to complain about. A car show was also paired with the event, providing for some extra photos.

1) A convoy of older automobiles parallel the jointed railroad ahead of the train peaking through in the distance.

2) Five century old coaches provide transportation for the ride with a high cupola complete with markers bring up the rear.
