Canadian Railroads > Switcher Saturday CPDate: 01/02/21 07:37 Switcher Saturday CP Author: briancdn A few photos of CP switchers from years gone by.
1) S-2 7098 was the St Johnsbury switcher pretty well all its career. When I first saw it in 1974 it was in maroon and grey and in great shape. When I went back in 1975 it had just been repainted into the first action red scheme. I was disgusted, but now happy I took the roster shot. 2) A classic scene at Newport Vermont in Aug 1976, S-2 7096 is burbling away the night, while it's front headlight lights up the nose of RS-2 8403, still in maroon and grey. 3) A freshly painted SW1200RS at St Luc in Montreal in 1980. 5) Also at St Luc in 1985 these switchers were stored. At the rear is CP 4744, the only M-640. And did I walk down to get a shot? no. (visual kick in the butt). 6) A view of the stored S-3 Brian N. Date: 01/02/21 07:54 Re: Switcher Saturday CP Author: cn6218 briancdn Wrote:

At least you can go shoot it at Delson these days. :-) GTD Date: 01/02/21 16:31 Re: Switcher Saturday CP Author: Blackfoot Very nice Brian. Did you get any shots of that NdeM unit in the background of picture #3 (at least I think that's what it is).
