Freight Car Friday
Author: Blackfoot

Three random pictures from the first roll of film I ever shot, on the first SLR I ever owned, a Canon AE-1.  All three were taken in the CN yard in North Battleford SK, April 1977.

Cheers,
Dwayne

A roll well-used, and thanks for sharing these. Were you a B&W shooter, or did you do what I did with my first SLR - shoot a test roll in monochrome before risking the money on K64?

If I recall correctly, that camera cost me close to $600 in 1977, which would be about $2,500 today according to the Bank of Canada inflation calculator.  That was a lot of cash for a 16 year old high school student with a part time job in his dad's service station, so I shot a lot of B&W in the early years to save on money.

Cheers,
Dwayne
