VIA Rail increased corridor service

On a corridor trip two weeks ago a crew member and a station agent told me that VIA was adding nine corridor trains effective the 12th of this month. I didn't mention this because it could be considered a rumour in the absence of an official notice by VIA. This morning VIA has put this information on its status page:
