A tale of two 407s
Author: newtonville150

CN train A407 is the daily manifest between Dartmouth NS and Moncton NB.
It usually passes my neck of the woods mid to late afternoon, and its eastbound counterpart 408 goes through
well after midnight. Typically 407's power returns to Dartmouth on the next 408. That means that, often for a
week or more I see the same power each day on 407.

1. Yesterday (July 28th) 407 was a relatively short 192 axles when I shot near the Oxford Jct station sign where the
former east leg of the wye joined the Springhill sub mainline.

2. Today's edition was a beefier 312 axles, which I shot at the west end of Oxford Jct siding.
