Happy Thanksgiving!.....Fall Colours through Marshy Hope NS and VIA 'Railiner' #603 westbound from Sydney to Truro and Halifax in October 1983.

Back then.....there was never a problem opening the window between cars and the Conductor would occasionally come back just to talk trains!

The Trans Canada Highway (on the left) will soon to be by-passed by a new 4-lane divided freeway currently under construction so little chance of passenger service ever returning here.
