Canadian Railroads > Holiday OceanDate: 12/31/21 08:14 Holiday Ocean Author: cn6218 Back on Boxing Day, 2007, VIA 6426 and 6435 were heading up the hill from Truro with an 18-car (but no Park car) all-Budd Ocean. The Ocean was operating as train 615, which usually meant that it was not on the regular schedule. At first I thought perhaps this was a Tuesday departure, but further investigation revealed it was actually Wednesday, and 15 would normally have left Halifax at 12:30. This one had left at 13:00, so perhaps that was the explanation.
