My CPR Slides 111
Author: CNStratford

April 19 1973-Ottawa ON-just south of Carleton University-the gravel train arriving.
How things change.  No freight trains now.  This is Line 2 of the Ottawa urban rail system.  The bridge over the Rideau River is undergoing extensive renovations.

Interesting scenes.  The first is my favorite.
Amazing how much things change is 50 years.
Thanks for posting yor CP photos.

Nice to see that view at Carleton U, where I spent a few years. Is that a gravel train, or the Hilton Mine run, #52, with iron ore pellets? That speeder set-off doesn't ring a bell; I started shooting in 1976.
