Canadian Railroads > three from the past

Three images taken on this day a mere 16 years ago, September 14, 2006.  Northbound on the BC Rail Lillooet sub with the Rocky Mountaineer "Fraser Discovery".

image 1: nearing the top of Kelly Lake Hill and a very early unusual snow fall.

image 2: a cold wet day and a view back on the train at mile 206 "Fifty One Creek"

image 3: in siding at Onward waiting for a southbound train.

What was going on with the CN business train cars on the rear?  VIPs along for the ride, or just some sort of deadhead move?

Just consider that many of us on here have reached the age where we might have seen the
images in the past but would never remember.  That said, they're all new to me.

Besides, I never get tired of your stuff anyway...

People keep apologizing for possible reposts of a picture around here when it's totally not necessary.
A good picture is a good picture no matter how many times it's posted.

A lot of people may not know this but if you upload images to this site you can look to see what images
you have posted in the past:

1.)  Click on "Static Photography" in the list on the left hand side of your screen.
2.)  On the page that comes up leave Category as "Any".
3.)  For Keyword type in your user name.
4.)  For Fields check the "Author" box.
5.)  Finally, click on filter to display all your previously posted photos...

Honestly, I can't remember why the CN equipment was tacked on the RMR train. I'm thinking back that it was a deadhead move of the CN stuff.

Other comments regarding my apology for re-posting images. It is just my weird sense of humour. The apologies started as a joke and have continued....
