Canadian Railroads > Last Shots of 2007Date: 01/08/23 16:45 Last Shots of 2007 Author: cn6218 From a little more than 15 years ago, here are a couple freights arriving in Halifax on December 30, 2007.
At 09:55, SD75Is 5637 and 5800 were leading train 122 towards MP 9 of the Bedford Sub, in the town of the same name. 122 had recently replaced 148 as the second train into Halifax, but it lasted less than a year before CN decided to run just one massive 120, a practice that lasted until earlier this year. A few hours later, at 12:21, 120 had arrived, pulled by brand new GEVOs 2285 and 2283, with older SD75I 5773 in third place. The train found a spot of sunshine as they hauled down track RG-10 next to the Bedford Basin in Rockingham Yard. GTD ![]() ![]() |
