An All-GMD Quartet
Author: cn6218

It wasn't exactly a matching consist, but 120 on April 27, 2009 had an SD70M-2/SD75I/SD70M-2/SD60F combo for power as they led the train towards mile 9 of the Bedford Sub.  8808, 5701, 8832 and 5515 were also notable for being powered by EMD 16V-710 prime movers.  The 8800s ("Thunder Cabs") were quite new at the time.  5515 is now off the roster.

Very nice! I don't know if I foresaw the day we'd get nostalgic about the SD50F and SD60F.

Great photo!  One minor correction... the CN 8000 series SD70M-2s actually are the "Thunder Cabs," as they lack the Isolated Cab found on the CN 8800s.
